Torsion Bar Heat Treatment Process

The chassis of the model-specific product adopts a double torsion bar independent suspension device, which has strict technical requirements. Heat treatment is a key process in the entire processing process. Tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, area shrinkage, impact toughness, torsion and fatigue life. Under the same quenching temperature and cooling medium, 450℃ for 3h and 390℃ for 3h respectively The test results show that the performance indicators of the torsion bar tempered at 450℃ for 3h fail to meet the design requirements, while those tempered at 390℃ for 3h meet the design requirements, and the fatigue life is greater than 1×10~5 times. There is no problem with the torsion bar in the whole vehicle test. The process has passed the base-level appraisal.
